Our Facility Advisory Program advocates for transgender incarcerated individuals and trains prisons & jail detention staff on a comprehensive standard of care for the transgender and gender non-conforming population that is incarcerated.

 

This training consists of; holistic care, sensitivity training, and PREA compliance for transgender incarcerated people.

 

In this way, it is our duty to educate prison & jail staff to make sure that TGNC people facing incarceration are treated fairly and kept safe out of harm's way & treated with respect while serving time in Georgia State Prison facilities.
